More than just asana...
Jivamukti Yoga is composed of a vigorous physical practice combined with a spiritual and ethical focus, reconnecting the practitioner and nature as one.
“Yoga practices shift our identity away from the ego-personality and its struggles so that we can begin to reconnect with the essential nature of our being, which is bliss.”
― Sharon Gannon

Yoga
Tapping into the subconcious
When we realize the impermanence of the physical world in which we live, we can embark on a healing journey, returning to our true nature of peace and harmony.
“It is important to expect nothing, to take every experience, including the negative ones, as merely steps on the path, and to proceed.”
-Ram Dass
About Me
Hi! My name is Chrissy. Originally from New Jersey (U.S.A.), I moved to Berlin in 2017. I started my yoga practice in 2011 with the intention to balance out intensive running and corporate stress.
Eventually, I learned that there is so much more to yoga than the physical practice as the teachings improved my mental health and subtle body. Soon, those around me noticed and started following me to class! This inspired me to become a teacher so that I could share the teachings even further.
I continued education and training in Jivamukti (800+ hours certified, including the 300HR TT in India and the Jivamukti Teacher Apprenticeship Program with my dear mentor Juan Sierra in Berlin), Pre/Post-natal Yoga (100+ hours certified), Hypnobirthing (50+ hours certified), Hypnosis (200+ hours certified). I now teach both in studios and privately throughout Berlin.
Why the name yoga and beans?
As a child, my nickname was "Beans"! In addition to yoga, I also do my best to inspire those around me towards veganism. If you check out my instagram page, I love to share easy vegan and gluten free cooking inspiration. Loving all beans... soy beans, cacao beans, coffee beans, you name it.
